Concealer- ABSOLUTE MUST BEAUTY PRODUCT

Concealer. Its one of those products you MUST have at all times. There are so many uses for concealer. Men AND women should have a concealer on hand.


Here are some uses.

1. Cover up blemishes- this is the most common use people think of.
2. Take away under eye circles.
3. Prime Eyes.
4.  Brighten skin

How to choose the correct shade. Basic rule is to choose a shade or two lighter than your skin tone. This will help brighten the skin. But be careful you don't go too light or you will look like a racoon. You may need a shade for winter and a darker shade for summer (same applies to foundation).

How to apply concealer. Depending what kind of foundation you are using, you will put concealer on first or second. I use mineral powder (LOVE) so I always put concealer on before it, but after foundation primer (must for mineral powder). Follow these steps for proper application:

• Apply several dots of concealer under the eyes. Use a concealer brush or your ring finger to tap the concealer under your eye and in the inside and outside corners until its blended in. Never rub! 
• Next apply a little to your finger and tap the top lid of your eye (while eyes closed) to act as an eye primer). 
• Tap concealer on all red or uneven spots on your face. Tap until blended. If you need more, you can always add more. Easier to add than take away! 
• Once your face canvas is even, apply your mineral powder foundation or other loose powder.
